Seeing years of images come together into a neat little inspiration notebook got me thinking about the swatch journal that never materialized so I’ve pulled that out and begun some hand stitching. I’d love to be back with an update on that and my series before July rolls around! It feels soooo good to use up items I’ve had stored for future projects and pare down the studio. When it comes to having a stash, there’s a fine line between inspiring and overwhelming (for me, anyway) and it was very much to the point of being overwhelming. Maybe…just maybe, I’ll glue images and stitch swatches into my journals as I collect them from here on out so I don’t require months to get caught up. That would be pretty amazing…
